Hi again everyone and thanks for reading.

In my last post I mentioned that I was going to be getting more involved with some of the affiliate programs I belong to.

Well boy am I pleased I did!

I started off with SFI and already in the last few days have got 2 new sign ups, and one of them has already upgraded.

Staying Focused

Hi everyone, I hope you’ve all had a good Bank Holiday weekend, the weather was a total washout here today, but then what’s new!

Since my last post I’ve written and had another article published, have posted my blog link on several social bookmarking sites, updated this blog a little, and have been posting on forums…not bad eh?

I didn’t get around to updating my website but I am definitely going to do that tomorrow before I do anything else!

It’s also time I started to get more involved with the other Affiliate Programs I belong to, SFI, Leisure Audio Books, and Host4Profit, I must admit I’ve been neglecting them up until now.

I’m not back at work until Wednesday afternoon (I’m on the late shift for the next 2 weeks..groan) so I have quite a bit of time to get some more work in.

I also plan to get another article written and hopefully published before I go back to work.

I make a list every night of what I want to achieve the following day and cross things off as I do them.

So you see I’m staying focused and I know the more determined I am and the more work I put in the more I’m likely to succeed and be able to work at home in the very near future.

They Moved the Goalposts!

Hi again and thanks for reading,

Well what a week!

It seems like my prayers have been answered, although not quite in the way I was hoping.

After a whole week of rumours, meetings and lots of uncertainty it’s finally been announced today that as from September, I and quite a lot of others are going to be losing our jobs.

Whilst a lot of the others are understandably upset and worried, I’m quite relieved and looking forward to it in a nervous kind of way.

I’m looking forward to putting all the time that I can into working from home and luckily have already got a head start.

My original goal was to be earning a much a week online regularly as I am in my day (and night) job..I’m just going to have to move the goals a little and put in a lot more hard work online before the axe finally drops.

My first article has now been published and it’s going to be the first of many, I’ve updated my website AffiliatesThatServe, which already needs updating again (another task for this weekend) , and I’ve joined some social bookmarking sites and posted on a couple of forums, phew!

So I’m looking on this as a good thing, and I’m getting quite excited about it to be honest, after all, to earn money working from home is what I’ve wanted for so long and I’m sure I can earn enough to live on using affiliate opportunities, as long as I stay determined and focused.

Getting Organised

Hi everyone,

I hope last weekend was good for all of you. I decided to take a well earned rest, from the computer as well as work and boy am I glad I did!

Monday morning, bright and early saw me on the job I hate most in the factory, the one that leaves me in the most pain, as the panels are quite heavy and bulky and if I stand them on their side they are about the same height as me! I never get a full nights sleep when I do this job as I keep waking up with the pain, numbness and tingling in my hands and arms.

Anyway back to the more important business.

This weekend I am going to be creating my own landing page ( sometimes known as a squeeze page ) and writing a couple of articles and submitting them to article directories.

I have already created my own website at AffiliatesThatServe and started blogging, which reminds me I must put a link to this blog on my website, I’ve been meaning to do it all week, I really must get myself more organised. if this week has taught me anything it’s that I really can’t go on too much longer doing what I’m doing, I really am getting too old for it lol!

After all the research I’ve done over the years into affiliate programs and opportunities and everything I’ve learnt ( and am still learning ) it’s time I put it all into action and started to make my dream come true and earn money working from home, enough money that is so I never have to go out to work again.

Self Motivation

Hi again,

Well I made it through last nights shift at work and am looking forward to another tonight ( NOT! ) There is one good thing though, it’s the last shift of the week so I can look forward to 2 days off. Yippee!

I talked yesterday about my commitment and goals, today I going to talk about what keeps me motivated.

It’s the thought of never having to go out to work again..not just to the job I do at the moment..but any job.

You see I have had to go out to work all my life, from the age of 12 ( Yes you read that right, 12 ) when I got my first Saturday job. The only time I have taken off work were 5 years when my children were babies. That’s over 30 years of going out to work! ..and what for? what do I really have to show for it? Not a great deal.

I don’t own my own home, I still have to rent. I don’t even own a car. I have debts that need paying every month.

That’s what keeps me motivated.

I am looking forward to being my own boss and being able to work as and when I want and not when someone else tells me that I have to.

Working from home means I can do lots of things things I couldn’t to do if I was working for someone else.I can take time off when ever I like, I can work whatever hours I like.

Commitment and Goals

One of the first things I realised when I started working online is that you have to be totally committed to what you want to achieve.

I set myself goals and although it is taking me longer than I had hoped to reach them, due to the fact I don’t have enough spare time on my hands as I also have to go out to work, I really am getting somewhere. I’ve suffered a few setbacks along the way, but I’ve never lost sight of my goals.

Every day when I’m at work and loading my machine up with panels so that they can be welded ( a really boring, tedious physically demanding job ) I tell myself that it won’t be forever, I am already working towards getting out of that place.

I have to leave for work in an hour, and I’m going to be on my feet, doing that awful job, for 9 and a half long hours, at the moment I am sitting at my computer typing this, it’s a glorious day, the sun is shining , I have all the windows open it’s so warm, I know what I would sooner be doing..there really is no contest, and one day, not so far away now, I will be earning enough online to give up that awful job, I won’t wake every day aching from head to toe, my hands numb for the first hour from the repetitive movements I keep having to perform, my chest clogged with the awful fumes the machines give out.

If it’s that awful why don’t I simply leave and get another job? Simple. I can’t afford to. Despite it being such an awful job it is a well paid job, which is why I put up with it.

So that’s why I decided I wanted to earn money working from home, I can work my own hours, and earn a good living at it with the help of my website AffiliatesThatServe and the affiliate opportunities that I have joined.

I have to go now, but I’ll be back soon, I have goals to achieve!

The First Steps

So you’ve decided you want to earn money working from home? And you want to do it using the internet. Great idea! But where are you going to start? How are you going to go about it?

These were exactly my thoughts last year when I made my mind up, once and for all that I was going to stop dreaming about making money online and do something about it

For 6 years I’d been promising myself that I’d find a way to make money on the Internet so that I’d be able to give up going out to work every day. Every now and again I’d look for ways to make a start, but I’d always put it on the back burner….I’ll do it tomorrow, I’m too busy today.
