Traffic Exchanges ExplainedIf you are a regular user of traffic exchanges I have a question for you…are you using traffic exchanges properly?

A lot of people are spending too much time and far to many clicks on traffic exchanges trying to promote network marketing businesses or affiliate programs. Others like to promote their website or their blog, or free services such as other traffic exchanges and so, which is probably a better idea than promoting an expensive product or subscription-based network marketing company. However, it is still not the best use of traffic exchanges.

Sure, getting people to visit your website must be one of your aims and it will probably benefit your Alexa ranking if you have a stream of visitors from several traffic exchanges, but my guess is that well over 99% of the visitors will click away as soon as they have earned the credit on the traffic exchange they are surfing.

Promoting other traffic exchanges that you are affiliated to has the advantage of  niche targeting, since your page viewers already use traffic exchanges. As traffic exchange programs are free to join there is a reasonable chance that a small percentage of page viewers were actually join up and perhaps even upgrade to earn you some credits or cash.

Unfortunately, those people do not sign up directly to your own primary mailing list which is where you want to have them. If you are going to cross-promote traffic exchanges, don’t spend too many good credits doing it. Instead advertise your traffic exchanges using cheap and plentiful banner ad credits. Traffic exchanges provide a wide range of banner ads for subscribers who wish to promote them. Banners promoting rival traffic exchanges probably get clicked more often than any other type of banner on traffic exchanges.

Keep in mind that nobody hangs around for very long on a web page when surfing traffic exchanges. So you are going to have to catch them fast with something that is free and bold.

That is exactly what squeeze pages were designed for.

A squeeze page is a very simple, fast and downloading page designed for a single purpose, that is, to capture the name and e-mail address of as many visitors as possible.

A squeeze page should have a powerful headline, a call to action and a signup form. Perhaps you will want to add a short bulleted list of benefits and a photograph of the free report or product you are giving away, and perhaps even a photograph of yourself - but don’t overdo it.

Ideally, you should run a couple of different squeeze pages and run a split test to see which one performs better.

Another mistake a lot of people make is to promote too many things and spread themselves too thinly. People are too impatient to sell their main products, but you want to avoid that mistake. What you need to do on a traffic exchange is focus on building your list and then sell your products on the backend after people have signed up to your free offer.

The same goes for building your traffic exchange downlines. You can use the thank-you page and your auto-responder e-mail messages to do that.  Anybody who clicks the links and joins the listed traffic exchanges will be added to your traffic exchange downlines and you won’t have to worry about how to get them on your primary list because they are already on it!

So remember, when surfing traffic exchanges, don’t try to sell directly to the surfers but use a two-step traffic exchange strategy. First, focus on getting prospects onto your own list. Second, promote your primary products and build your traffic exchange and affiliate program downlines on the backend.  If you would like more information you can download the Free Traffic Exchanges Explained ebook, just right click the link or the image above and select “save as” .Then you will be sure you are using traffic exchanges properly.

Posted on June 2nd, 2009 in Affiliate Opportunities, Business Tools, Getting Started by Carol Aston

One way backlinks is one of the best and most effective ways to get high positions in search engines. But getting quality targeted one way links can take a long time.

Free Traffic System is a new project that helps you to get top quality one way links for free -  an unlimited number of one way links, because you build as many as you need.  Also The Free Traffic System has integrated a brand new concept of viral marketing, rewarding its members with bonus one way links.

Before I tell you about the viral part of the project,  I’ll explain where exactly you are getting these backlinks from. The backlinks are built inside real blog posts, not in the footer or blogroll - in the very body of a real, unique blog post. This is the most safe way to build one way links, because you give real unique content to the visitors in the blog posts and search engines always welcome this - because search engines were created to help people in finding quality information in the Internet.

You will get backlinks from relevant sites that belong to real people in different niches. Natural, safe and smart way to build backlinks for free. You submit one article to Free Traffic System and it converts into up to 60 top quality one way backlinks! And - unlike traditional article marketing - no one will delete your backlinks from the article, like they do when stealing your content from article directories.

The viral part of Free Traffic System is simple - they reward people for bringing others into this free project. You will be receiving a BONUS backlink on every 3rd post that people whom you referred to Free Traffic System are making. This means you get bonus backlink on article No 1, 4, 7, 10, 13, 16, etc. of all people who got into the system via the affiliate link.

As every article can be republished on up to 30 sites in Free Traffic System, this means that one article with your bonus link equals to 30 backlinks from Free Traffic System. 2 articles = 60 bonus backlinks, 3 articles = 90 bonus backlinks. And this is in addition to the unlimited backlinks that you can build inside Free Traffic System yourself.

And the final perk of the viral strategy. If you add at least one WordPress blog to Free Traffic System, they instantly increase the number of bonus backlinks by 7%.

So, in Free Traffic System you get:

- free backlinks that you build yourself
- viral bonus backlinks for affiliating people into the project
- viral bonus backlinks for adding your blog(s) to Free Traffic System

With The Free Traffic System free one way backlink building power targeted traffic from search engines becomes just a matter of time.
